So here's a cool thing...
My friend and erstwhile bandmate Alex has a new CD coming out, and a couple of my songs are being covered in the process. Which is pretty flattering, and a bit humbling — he’s taken two songs I never quite got a handle on, and handled them just fine.
IE View 1.4.3 available, fixes Firefox 3.5 beta incompatibility
If you're running Firefox 3.5 beta (as I have been, very happily, for a while now), you'll want to grab the latest IE View release. It fixes a compatibility problem (detailed here) with FF 3.5.
IE View 1.4.3 isn't available via the standard auto-update channel yet, but you can get it from the IE View download page.
At Aroma in July
Just an early heads-up: Wednesday, July 1 I'm playing at Aroma Café in downtown Champaign. The show runs from 7 to 9pm.
IE View 1.4.2 released yesterday.

A quiz. Completely hypothetical.
Let's say I run a web site.
IE View 1.4 released... two months ago
It was pointed out to me this morning that I hadn’t updated the IE View home page to mention version 1.4’s release. Correcting that omission, I noticed that I had never mentioned it here – nor had I mentioned v1.3.9. Both of those releases happed in October. Today is actually v1.4’s two-month anniversary.
New demo: "Half Way Home"
Just posted the roughest possible demo of a brand new song. My voice is shot, my G string goes out of tune midway through, and I don’t care ’cause I’m happy to have finished something. I’ll make it perfect later.
Way to set those priorities, California
Tom Toles sums it up pretty well.
While we're on the subject of IE View, Firefox 3, and Bookmarks
Since I was in there anyway…
IE View 1.3.8, now monkeying with bookmark menus
